What time do you pick up from our hotel?
Pick up schedule depend on your hotel location. We advise to contact us on our local number 01144044035 one day before your trip date.
Is this trip suitable for the whole family?
Yes, it is suitable for the whole family
Do you provide pick up from Makadi?
Makadi , Safaga, Somabay, and El Gouna are outside the city of Hurghada. Extra charges may apply for the pick up (8$ additional fee to be paid cash on the boat)
Do we need to pay extra for the trip?
No, except the transportation outside Hurghada city.
Is the transportation including in the price?
Inside Hurghada city, transportation is free.
What sort of marine life will we see?
All of our reef sites offer great ecological diversity and an abundance of marine life. Some of the commonly seen marine life include turtles, anemone fish (Nemo), lionfish, cuttlefish, moray eels and more...
Is lunch provided?
Yes a hot and cold buffet lunch is served on board.
Do you have foreign speaking dive/snorkel staff?
Our crew do speak a number of different languages, however a specific language can not be guaranteed on any given day of travel due to staff rosters.
Are your dive instructors PADI certified?
Yes
Will I get seasick?
Hopefully not. Where there is motion however, whether in a car, bus, plane or boat, some people will suffer from motion sickness. Motion sickness medication is available onboard.
Do you provide optical masks for snorkelers and divers?
Standard masks magnify objects underwater by 25%, however prescription masks are also available ranging from -2 to -7 in strength.
Do you need to know how to swim to dive?
Not technically. It is recommended however that if you can't swim but would like to do an introductory dive would be better suited to ensure the best experience.
Can we take children?
Yes, any age is welcome accompanied by an adult, however we highly recommend that children be confident in the water. Babysitting facilities are not available onboard.
Can I bring my camera on my snorkeling tour?
Yes, you can bring a camera, but we recommend to have a waterproof one if you want to have it in the water with you.
Do you offer photos from the snorkeling tour?
Our guides normally have an underwater camera and usually, take photos during the tour. If you are interested in photos please let your guide know before you go into the water. You can then buy the photos from your guide at the end of the tour, which includes all the photos from that day. Kindly note that photos cannot be guaranteed. Our customer’s safety and well-being is our first priority, and therefore the guide will focus on snorkelers as a priority when in the water and will be taking photos when everyone is comfortable.
Can I wear glasses during the snorkeling?
No. Unfortunately, glasses don’t create a seal between your face and the mask. We recommend wearing contact lenses instead.
I am pregnant, can I participate in the snorkeling tour?
You are not able to participate in the snorkelling tour if you are pregnant.
Can we do snorkeling and diving at the same time?
Some snorkelling tours match with a dive tour, and then you will be in the same area at the same time. You will, however, be in separate groups with separate guides, and won’t be in the water exactly at the same time.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Yes, you must be able to swim independently without a lifejacket, and you must be comfortable in the water.
